Why I Chose the RTX 3070 / 3070 ti for This Build:
Right now, GPU prices are still pretty high, especially for cards like the RTX 3080 and above. While those higher-end models offer a performance bump, the cost just isn’t worth it for most people. Instead, going with a good condition, used RTX 3070 / 3070 ti makes a lot more sense.
The RTX 3070 / 3070 ti is still a powerful card that handles 1440p and even some 4K gaming really well, but at a much more reasonable price. Since it’s been out for a few years now, you can find great deals if you’re patient — without overpaying for only a small jump in performance. For anyone trying to build a powerful but smart-priced PC, the RTX 3070 is simply the better value.
