Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Pekadi does not collect, receive, transmit, or store personal data on Pekadi servers.

Data generated or entered within the app remains on your device. Pekadi does not operate an external server, account system, analytics system, advertising network, or tracking system for app data.

2. Local Data Storage and Apple Keychain

All user data is stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage systems. Saved password data uses Apple Keychain, the same Apple secure storage system provided by iOS for storing passwords and other sensitive app secrets.

Pekadi does not have access to your local Keychain items or local app data, and this data is not sent to Pekadi.

3. No Account Required

Pekadi does not require any personal sign-up information.

4. No Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, disclose, or transmit app data to external servers.

Your app data is intended to stay on your device unless you choose to back up or transfer your device data through Apple-provided tools.

5. Internet Usage

Pekadi does not require an internet connection for core functionality.

6. Third-Party Services

Pekadi does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

7. Security

All users of the app are protected by the local-only design and by Apple’s built-in platform security features. Because Pekadi does not receive user data, we cannot view, recover, reset, or export data stored in your local app installation.

8. Backups, Deletion, and Data Loss

Your saved password data and other app data are kept on your device. If you delete the app, erase the device, replace the device, disable relevant Apple backups, or otherwise remove the local data before backing it up, the data stored by the app will be gone from that app installation and may be permanently lost.

Pekadi cannot restore deleted local password data because Pekadi does not store a copy on its servers.

9. Massachusetts Privacy and Security Notice

Massachusetts data security regulations, including 201 CMR 17.00, apply to persons or businesses that own or license covered personal information about Massachusetts residents. Pekadi is designed so that Pekadi does not own, license, receive, store, maintain, process, or otherwise access users’ covered personal information through the app.

If Pekadi ever changes its app design to collect or access covered personal information, we will update this policy and use safeguards appropriate to applicable law, including Massachusetts requirements.

10. Children’s Privacy

Pekadi does not knowingly collect information from children. Since no data is collected, the app is suitable for general audiences.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in the future. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
